B.J. McLeod A Viable DFS Option At Daytona Saturday Night
1 year agoIt's not very often that we talk about B.J. McLeod when it comes to building DFS lineups, but with Saturday night's race being at Daytona International Speedway, McLeod should definitely be considered. When it comes to DFS success at superspeedway tracks like Daytona, it's all about place differential and finishing position. McLeod qualified in 38th-place for Saturday night's race (out of 39 cars) which means he has plenty of room to move forward during the race. Will he be able to do this on raw speed? That's unlikely, but if chaos happens during the race--which we have seen time and time again at Daytona--and McLeod is able to avoid the wrecks, he's capable of a top-20 finish. He started 37th and finished 18th at Talladega earlier this season, and in this regular season finale race at Daytona last year, McLeod survived the carnage and posted a 7th-place finish after starting back in 36th-place. It's definitely worth using B.J. McLeod significantly more than normal in DFS contests this weekend.
