Tim Anderson Returns From Suspension
1 year agoChicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson has finished his suspension and is back at shortstop and in the leadoff spot for the Pale Hose on Wednesday against the visiting Seattle Mariners and right-hander George Kirby. Anderson had a five-game suspension for his role in a brawl with the Cleveland Guardians on Aug. 5, but he's back now and is hoping to stay hot at the plate after what has been an extremely disappointing 2023 campaign for the 30-year-old. He's hitting .281 (27-for-96) in the second half of the season, but overall Anderson has been a huge fantasy bust with a .238 average (88-for-370) with just one home run, 21 RBI, 11 stolen bases and 38 runs scored in 92 games after being an All-Star in 2021 and 2022.
