1 year agoLos Angeles Rams tight end Davis Allen played in his first NFL game in Saturday's 34-17 preseason loss to the Las Vegas Raiders and did not disappoint. The fifth-round rookie out of Clemson hauled in a team-high eight catches on eight targets for 53 yards, including an incredible 15-yard contested catch in the second quarter. Allen has been praised for consistently winning in 50/50 situations like we saw Saturday night. While the rookie is still well behind Tyler Higbee, he will look to make a strong push for the team's backup tight end spot, as the Rams could desperately use his playmaking potential.--Saleh
