Michael Conforto Homers In Win Over Rangers
1 year agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Michael Conforto hit a home run in Sunday's 3-2 extra-inning win over the visiting Texas Rangers. Conforto finished his day 2-for-3 with an RBI, a run scored and a walk in the winning effort. The 30-year-old left-handed slugger also homered in Saturday's contest and has been heating up at the plate lately. Since July 28, he's gone 13-for-47 (.277) with two home runs, two doubles, three RBI and seven runs scored in 15 starts for the Gigantes. In his first year in San Francisco after not playing at all in 2022 due to an injury, Conforto is slashing .242/.336/.405 with 15 home runs, 11 doubles, 54 RBI, four stolen bases and 50 runs scored in 396 trips to the plate over 102 games. He should continue playing regularly, at least against right-handed pitchers.
