1 year agoGreen Bay Packers rookie running back Lew Nichols (shoulder) did not play in the team's preseason opener on Friday night against the Cincinnati Bengals due to a shoulder injury. Nichols, who was a seventh-round selection in this year's draft, has been sitting out due to a shoulder injury that he sustained early this month. The 21-year-old will need to get back on the field quickly and get some preseason action in to try and solidify himself a roster spot heading into the regular season. Right now, he's currently buried on Green Bay's running back depth chart behind Aaron Jones, AJ Dillon, Patrick Taylor and Tyler Goodson.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
