Kenneth Walker III Making Progress
1 year agoSeattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III (groin) hasn't practiced since the first day of training camp, but head coach Pete Carroll has said it isn't a serious injury. Carroll said on Wednesday that Walker is running at full speed in a straight line. His next step will be cutting, which will happen in the next couple of days. The 22-year-old second-year back won't play in the preseason opener against the Minnesota Vikings this week, but barring a setback, he'll be fully ready for Week 1 of the regular season. Walker has plenty of fantasy upside as a rusher, but the addition of rookie Zach Charbonnet will keep his ceiling a bit lower as an RB2 in upcoming drafts. In 15 games (11 starts) in his rookie season in 2022, Walker rushed for 1,050 yards and nine TDs on 228 carries.
