1 year agoMinnesota Twins shortstop Royce Lewis (oblique) will start his minor-league rehab assignment at Triple-A St. Paul on Tuesday. Lewis could return to the team as early as this weekend as long as he doesn't suffer any setbacks from a left-oblique strain that has kept him sidelined since July 1. If the 24-year-old is available on your league's waiver wire, it's time to scoop him up before he returns from the 10-day injured list, although he could struggle to find consistent playing time for the Twins on the infield. The former first overall pick in 2017 was playing very well before his injury in 2023, slashing .326/.354/.474 with an .827 OPS, four home runs, two doubles, 15 RBI and 11 runs scored in 26 games.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
