Ketel Marte Day-To-Day With Quad Tightness
1 year agoArizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte (quadriceps) left Sunday's game early against the Minnesota Twins with left-quadriceps tightness and he's considered day-to-day, according to the team. Before departing on Sunday, Marte went 0-for-3. The good news for the 29-year-old is that the team has a scheduled off day on Monday, so there's a chance he'll be ready to return for the start of a series on Tuesday against the division-rival Los Angeles Dodgers. The switch-hitting Dominican has been a must-start for fantasy lineups in 2023, as he's hitting .283/.359/.496 with an .855 OPS, 18 home runs, 19 doubles, a league-high seven triples, 57 RBI, six stolen bases and 73 runs scored in 460 plate appearances over 106 games played.
