Eloy Jimenez Makes His Return
1 year agoChicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez (groin) is back in the starting lineup on Thursday against the New York Mets and left-hander Jose Quintana. Jimenez is serving as the designated hitter and batting cleanup. He missed the last two games while nursing a minor groin injury, but fantasy managers will have him back headed into the weekend. Hopefully he'll be able to pick up where he's left off in July, as he's gone 11-for-38 with two home runs, six RBI and five runs scored in 11 games this month. Jimenez has still yet to steal a base in his major-league career, and he's slashing .269/.313/.463 with 12 home runs, 11 doubles, 40 RBI and 29 runs scored in 62 games this year. Get him back into your starting lineups.
