Chris Sale Feels Good Following Bullpen
1 year agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Chris Sale (shoulder) tossed a bullpen on Tuesday, and according to Sonja Chen of MLB.com, he "felt good" afterwards. The left-hander has appeared in just 11 games this season as he's dealing with a shoulder injury he sustained in early June. It was his first bullpen session since hitting the injured list, so Sale still has a little bit to go until he can return to the team, possibly in early August. The 34-year-old owns a 4.58 ERA across 59 innings this season but has registered a 28.5% strikeout rate and 6.0% walk rate. Fantasy managers should continue stashing Sale on the injured list in all formats.
