1 year agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Jo Adell is making the start in center field and batting fifth in the lineup on Friday against right-hander Tony Gonsolin and the Los Angeles Dodgers. It's Adell's second straight start since being called up earlier this week. He's only played in three games this year, but he's gone 3-for-8 with a home run, double, triple, three RBI and two runs scored and could see regular playing time in LA's outfield with Mike Trout (wrist) potentially missing the majority of the second half of the season. The 24-year-old post-hype prospect hasn't fared too well in parts of three previous big-league seasons, but he could just be a late bloomer. Now that he's going to get another real opportunity, fantasy managers should scoop him up if he's available.
