Jose Altuve Still Out Wednesday
1 year agoHouston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve (oblique) is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday against the visiting Colorado Rockies. It will be the second game on the bench for Altuve, who is dealing with an oblique injury that could realistically keep him sidelined until after next week's All-Star break. The 33-year-old has had a season full of injuries to this point and has played in only 32 games so far in 2023, but he remains a must-start in fantasy lineups when he's in Houston's lineup. Mauricio Dubon will get another start at the keystone and bat leadoff on Wednesday against Rockies right-hander Chase Anderson. Dubon has gone 5-for-15 with a double, triple and two RBI in four games so far in July and will be a popular DFS choice on Wednesday's slate in an excellent matchup.
