Josh Naylor Not Playing Tuesday
1 year agoCleveland Guardians first baseman Josh Naylor (wrist) is not in the starting lineup on Tuesday against the visiting Atlanta Braves. Naylor will start on the bench after injuring his right wrist on Monday. With the All-Star break coming next week, there's a chance we won't see the 26-year-old left-handed slugger until the start of the second half of the season, depending on how serious the injury is. Josh Bell is getting the start at the cold corner on Tuesday and is hitting cleanup against Braves left-hander Kolby Allard. Naylor has been great for the Guardians and fantasy managers alike this year, hitting .295/.337/.468 with an .804 OPS, 10 home runs, 18 doubles, 60 RBI, five stolen bases and 31 runs scored in 75 games played. Check back on Wednesday to see if he has returned to the field.
