Seiya Suzuki Back In Tuesday's Lineup
1 year agoChicago Cubs outfielder Seiya Suzuki (neck) is returning to the starting lineup on Tuesday to face Milwaukee Brewers left-hander Wade Miley. He's starting in right field and hitting fifth in the batting order. Suzuki missed a few games last week with neck pain and took another day off on Monday, although he did enter the game as a pinch-hitter. It's something to watch heading into next week's All-Star break, but right now it's not serious enough to put him on the injured list. He's gone hitless in his last six games with seven strikeouts and has been on the skids sine the beginning of June offensively, so fantasy managers may want to keep him on the bench. The 28-year-old is hitting a strong .318 (20-for-63) with one of his six home runs against lefties, though.
