Foyesade Oluokun 2023 NFL Player : Tackle Machine That Never Slows Down
1 year agoJacksonville Jaguars linebacker Foyesade Oluokun's critics say he can't sustain his incredible tackle production every offseason. And every season, Oluokun's critics are proven wrong. For three straight seasons, Oluokun has made over 100 tackles, and for two straight seasons, he has led the league in combined tackles. Last season, his first as a Jaguar, Oluokun also led the league in solo tackles for the first time, with 128. He finished as the No. 1 scorer of all IDPs in both the RotoBaller IDP Standard and Fantasy Pros scoring systems for the first time after finishing as the IDP2 in 2021. The Jags added two rookie linebackers in the 2022 draft, Devin Lloyd and Chad Muma. While both showed promise at points, they were highly inconsistent, and they were each benched at different points during the season. Even if Lloyd, the first-rounder, makes a second-year jump, Oluokun should remain the primary every-down off-ball linebacker, while Lloyd would be the No. 2.
