1 year agoWashington Nationals third baseman Jeimer Candelario, who could potentially be an All-Star this year, is available on the trade market, according to sources. According to Wins Above Replacement, Candelario has been the most valuable third baseman in the National League this year. The 29-year-old has a good chance of being dealt before the Aug. 1 deadline, as he will be a free agent after this season and the Nationals aren't contenders this year. Candelario would surely be an upgrade for a contender at the hot corner, and he's been useful in fantasy this year as well with a .263 average (76-for-289) with 10 home runs, 26 doubles, two triples, 38 RBI, four steals and 40 runs scored in 76 games. He would also most likely see a boost in his fantasy value if he lands with a contender in the second half.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
