1 year agoBaltimore Ravens rookie wide receiver Zay Flowers was impressive during offseason practices with his ability to consistently get open. The Ravens have drafted six wideouts in the first round in their history, but none have shown this type of route-running as a rookie. Teammates and coaches have raved about Flowers' sharp change of direction, which has caused plenty of separation in practices. "Zay is shifty," quarterback Lamar Jackson said. "Zay is very fast, explosive. He can stop on the dime." The 22-year-old has had the occasional drop, but team officials aren't concerned about his hands. He's projected to be among the team's top three receivers alongside Odell Beckham Jr. and Rashod Bateman in a Baltimore offense that hopes to be much more explosive through the air in 2023.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
