Super regionals begin today; we are down to our final 16 teams. For those new to college, baseball teams are seeded 1-64 and split into 16 different regionals with hosts for each 16—the winners from each regional move on to a best-of-three series. The winners of these super regionals earn their right to advance to Omaha and the College World Series. We have already seen mayhem occur in our regional round as Oral Roberts, a four seed, has advanced to the round of 16. We have also seen seven of the 16 number-one seeds get eliminated, and three of the eight national seeds fall.
With only four games today and lines already being posted for four of tomorrow's games, I have decided to focus this article on Friday and Saturday. I will write up one game from today and two for tomorrow's games. It's sad to think that after this article, only one more College Baseball article will be left this season here at RotoBaller. It has been my honor providing you all with these; believe it or not, this is the tenth edition of this article. Who would have thought a simple pitch to my bosses would have turned into this, but I am so grateful.
Sportsbooks have recently taken away game totals and run lines in College Baseball. This article will focus on moneylines and often parlaying teams to get better odds. Not all books have college lines, so that DraftKings Sportsbook will be my primary book. If you find a line in another book, feel free to use that as well. With no further adieu, here are my favorite bets for Friday, June 9th, 2023, and Saturday, June 10th, 2023. The pictures posted in the article are with permission from my guy Friday Starters. Make sure you give him a follow on Twitter, as he has some of the best college baseball content out there.

Today's College Baseball Betting Picks
South Carolina @ #2 Florida
Gamecocks: James Hicks | Gators: Brandon Sproat
Super regionals have returned to Gainsville for the first time since 2018. Florida lost on Saturday to Texas Tech 5-4 in game two of regionals. From there, they beat UConn 8-2 on Sunday and Texas Tech 7-1 in game one of the regional championship. They returned on Monday and dominated them 6-0 to advance to a super-regional.
Brandon Sproat (7-3, 4.70 ERA) will get the ball in game one against the Gamecocks. At home this season, Sproat is 6-1 with a 3.88 ERA. He has an electric fastball that he will run into triple digits and the best change-up in college baseball. Brandon Neely (12 saves, 3.63 ERA) is a weapon out of the bullpen for Florida. Neely threw five scoreless innings over three appearances in the regional to earn himself a spot on the Regional All-Tournament team.
The offense is deadly and is clicking on all cylinders at the moment. Jac Caglianone (.337AVG, 31 HR, 84 RBI), Wyatt Langford (.387 AVG, 18 HR, 48 RBI), Josh Rivera (.357 AVG, 16 HR, 65 RBI), Cade Kurland (.303 AVG, 16 HR, 46 RBI), and BT Riopelle (.252 AVG, 15 HR, 64 RBI) lead one of the best offenses in the country. Caglianone, Langford, Rivera, and Tyler Shenut (.285 AVG, 6 HR, 25 RBI) earned Regional All-Tounament team honors.
James Hicks (8-1, 3.32 ERA) will get the start here for the Gamecocks. Hicks has a good arm and has been relatively effective here, but The Swamp will be rocking, and I don't think South Carolina stands a chance in this super regional. Will Sanders (4-3, 5.37 ERA) was incredible out of the bullpen for the Gamecocks in their regional final against Campbell. Still, if they're losing on Friday, I doubt they'll turn to him with an elimination game on the horizon.

Tomorrow's College Baseball Betting Picks
#21 Tennessee @ #13 Southern Miss
Volunteers: TBA (Andrew Lindsey Projected) | Golden Eagles: TBA (Billy Oldham Projected)
Tennessee will travel to Southern Miss after the Golden Eagles were awarded the host rights on Tuesday morning. This series becomes more interesting here now that USM is hosting, but I still believe this is Tennessee's super regional to lose. Tennessee lives and dies off their pitching staff, and Andrew Lindsey (3-2, 2.40 ERA) will get the start here for the Vols.
Lindsey has been excellent since being moved into the Friday role for Tennessee and was a big reason this sleeping giant woke up. The Vols are 6-0 in his past six starts. If Tennessee is winning, they will turn to the best bullpen arm left in the tournament in Chase Burns (4-3, 4.91 ERA), who was exceptional in the 14-inning win against Clemson in regionals. Burnes went 6.1 IP, allowing one ER and striking out eight. He has a fastball that will regularly touch 100 and an elite slider.
Tennessee is led offensively by their star second baseman Christian Moore (.321 AVG, 17 HR, 48 RBI). Jared Dickey (.335 AVG, 12 HR, 47 RBI), Griffin Merrit (.306 AVG, 18 HR, 46 RBI), and Moore make up a middle of the order that can compete with any arm in the country. Zane Denton (.277 AVG, 15 HR, 55 RBI) hits seventh in this order, and he had one of the most significant swings in Tennessee baseball history with a go-ahead three-run home run in the top of the ninth against Clemson.
I also assume that Tanner Hall (12-3, 2.08 ERA) will not throw until game two after being brought back on short rest Monday against Penn. Hall threw 123 pitches in their game-one loss against Samford. He then threw 30 pitches in his start on Monday. With this being a best-of-three series, I would assume that USM will elect to give Hall the extra day of rest and start him on Sunday, turning to Billy Oldham (8-3, 4.33 ERA) on Saturday. Oldham is a good pitcher in his own right, but he is in no comparison to their All-American Tanner Hall.
Pick: Tennessee Moneyline (-130) DraftKings Sportsbook

Tomorrow's College Baseball Betting Picks
Texas @ #6 Stanford
Longhorns: TBA (Lucas Gordon Projected) | Cardinal: TBA (Joey Dixon Projected)
Texas A&M was one win away from an elite super regional between two rivals, but now we get what should be a very exciting super between Stanford and Texas. This weekend, the Longhorns showed their strength on the mound by dominating the Coral Gables regional.
Pitching showed up for Texas as Big-12 Pitcher of the Year Lucas Gordon (7-1, 2.45 ERA) and Lebarron Johnson Jr. (8-3, 2.62 ERA) were dominant in games one and two. Lucas Gordon will get the ball here for Texas in game one, and I love how this dude pitches. Zane Morehouse was moved to the bullpen after pitching on the weekends and has been a weapon for the Longhorns in that role. He was on the bump in every big moment late for the Longhorns in regionals.
Porter Brown (.326 AVG, 12 HR, 57 RBI) is the leader on the offensive side of the ball as well as Peyton Powell (.341 AVG, 10 HR, 45 RBI) and Dylan Campbell (.345 AVG, 13 HR, 48 RBI). The offense showed up in the regional final after Jalin Flores hammered a grand slam and punched the Longhorns' ticket to Palo Alto this weekend.
Like Southern Miss, I expect Stanford to hold off on their ace Quinn Mathews (9-4, 3.65 ERA) until Sunday after pitching out of the bullpen on short rest in Monday's regional final against Texas A&M. Mathews went 114 pitches on Friday in Stanford's opening win against San Jose State. He then threw another 66 pitches on Monday in Stanford's regional championship win against Texas A&M. Lucas Gordon vs. anyone else on this staff besides Mathews is an advantage to the Longhorns.
Pick: Texas Moneyline (-105) DraftKings Sportsbook
