Kendrick Bourne 2023 Outlook: Could Be On Outside Looking In On Patriots Depth Chart
2 years agoNew England Patriots wide receiver Kendrick Bourne caught 55 passes for 800 yards and five touchdowns in his first season with the team in 2021 but regressed mightily in 2022 with just 35 receptions for 434 yards and one touchdown. The arrival of DeVante Parker seemingly took away any of his fantasy value, and he could have an uphill battle to earn snaps once again in 2023. Jakobi Meyers signed with Las Vegas this offseason, but JuJu Smith-Schuster was brought in to replace him, and second-year wideout Tyquan Thornton is expected to see an expanded role. Parker is still in New England and rookie Kayshon Boutte could have an impact right away, too. Ultimately, this sets up to be a crowded target pecking order and Bourne will likely be on the outside looking in. Bourne will go undrafted in even the deepest of fantasy football leagues and won't enter the fantasy radar unless multiple New England wide receivers go down with injuries.
