Jazz Chisholm Jr. To See Foot Specialist
2 years agoMiami Marlins outfielder Jazz Chisholm Jr. (toe) will have a follow-up appointment with a foot specialist on Wednesday to check on his progress from turf toe. He hurt his right big toe on May 13 while trying to make an inning-ending catch. X-rays came back negative, and the team initially called it a right-foot contusion before Chisholm met with Dr. Robert Anderson on May 15. The 25-year-old isn't on the cusp of a return while still in a walking boot, but fantasy managers will be hoping he gets positive news this week. Chisholm was initially projected to miss anywhere from four to six weeks. Before his injury, Chisholm was hitting a disappointing .229 (33-for-144), but he also had seven home runs, 16 RBI and 12 stolen bases in 39 games played. Keep him stashed everywhere.
