Kevin Gausman Dominates Brewers Thursday

Gausman threw 6 ⅔ shutout innings, allowing five hits and two walks while fanning 11. He had 16 swinging strikes on 115 pitches, including nine on his devastating splitter. He also hit 99.3 mph on a heater, his highest pitch velocity since 2016. This outing lowers his ERA to 2.76 and his WHIP to 1.12, and he now has a 100:18 K:BB ratio in 75 IP. All signs point toward him being a fantasy ace for the rest of the season.
