Brandin Cooks 2023 NFL Player Outlook: Bounce Back Candidate In Cowboys Offense
2 years agoDallas Cowboys wide receiver Brandin Cooks spent the last three seasons with the Houston Texans, posting two 1,000-yard receiving seasons before a 699-yard campaign in 2023. He regressed mightily last year, but Houston had one of the worst offenses in the NFL. Cooks has posted at least 1,000 yards in six of his nine seasons, including with four different franchises. He could see a major bounce-back season in one of the best offenses in the NFL in 2023. CeeDee Lamb is the bonafide No. 1 wideout in Dallas, but with Dalton Schultz gone, there are plenty of targets to go around. He's being priced as a WR4 in fantasy drafts, but if things go right, he could post a low-end WR2 season. Ultimately, his best value might be in Best Ball leagues. He may not be a consistent weekly producer, but he'll likely have big boom weeks.
