2 years agoMinnesota Twins shortstop Carlos Correa (foot) is out of the starting lineup on Saturday against the Toronto Blue Jays. Meanwhile, first baseman/outfielder Joey Gallo (hamstring) is back in there, starting at first base and batting leadoff against Blue Jays right-hander Chris Bassitt. Correa is battling plantar fasciitis in his foot and missed a few games this week before returning to action on Friday. It's something he may have to manage moving forward, so his status bears watching. Kyle Farmer is starting at the 6 and hitting eighth on Saturday. Gallo missed Wednesday's game but returned as a pinch-hitter on Friday after an off day on Thursday. The left-handed slugger has struggled recently with five hits (two homers) in 23 at-bats (.217) with 11 strikeouts in his last nine games.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
