Ty France Returns Thursday Against A's
2 years agoSeattle Mariners first baseman Ty France (wrist) is back in the starting lineup on Thursday, starting at first base and hitting second in the lineup against the Oakland Athletics and left-hander JP Sears. France was hit by a pitch on his wrist on Tuesday and didn't play on Wednesday, but he's back in there now for fantasy managers. The 28-year-old has hit better in May than he did in April, going 23-for-82 (.281) with four doubles, two home runs and six RBI in 20 games played. Although he has yet to go deep against a left-hander, France is hitting a decent .277 (13-for-47) with four doubles and seven RBI against southpaws so far in 2023, so fantasy managers will want to get him back into their lineups on Thursday night.
