Cedric Mullins Sitting Out Thursday
2 years agoBaltimore Orioles outfielder Cedric Mullins is not in the team's starting lineup on Thursday against the New York Yankees. Mullins is getting a normal day of rest here, but fantasy managers will need to make sure to pull him from their starting lineups. The 28-year-old outfielder has been hot in his last seven games, going 10-for-28 (.357) with four doubles, two home runs, six RBI and a stolen base in 31 plate appearances for the O's. Mullins is the team's regular leadoff hitter and is batting .275 (50-for-182) with 12 doubles, three triples, eight home runs, 39 RBI, 13 stolen bases and a solid .359 on-base percentage overall in 2023 over 49 games. Ryan McKenna is in center field and hitting eighth on Thursday, while second baseman Adam Frazier is in the leadoff spot against Yankees right-hander Clarke Schmidt.
