Tony Pollard Taking Part In OTAs
2 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard (ankle, leg) has been able to take part in the team's reduced-tempo organized team activities this week, according to head coach Mike McCarthy. Pollard suffered a fractured fibula in the Jan. 22 playoff loss to the San Francisco 49ers and continues to work his way back to full strength. The 26-year-old also had tightrope surgery on a high-ankle sprain in his left leg, so his recovery will be something to watch through training camp this summer. Barring any setbacks, he should be ready for Week 1 as Dallas' primary running back after breaking out in 2022 with his first 1,000-yard rushing season and 12 total touchdowns in 16 regular season games. As long as he's healthy, Pollard has RB1 fantasy upside in 2023.
