Ravens Sign Angelo Blackson
2 years agoThe Baltimore Ravens signed veteran free-agent defensive tackle Angelo Blackson to an undisclosed deal on Wednesday. Blackson played in 32 games (12 starts) for the Chicago Bears over the last two years and recorded 65 tackles (34 solo), 2.5 sacks, four tackles for loss, 10 QB hits, one interception and three passes defensed. The 6-foot-4, 315-pounder will turn 31 years old this November. He was originally a fourth-round pick by the Tennessee Titans in 2015 out of Auburn, and Blackson has racked up 166 tackles (98 solo), 8.5 sacks, 15 tackles for loss, 27 QB hits, one interception, eight passes defensed, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in eight NFL seasons. Blackson will likely be depth for the interior of Baltimore's defensive line in 2023.
