Aaron Rodgers Suffers Calf Strain Tuesday
2 years agoNew York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (calf) reportedly suffered a strained calf at organized team activities on Tuesday, according to sources. However, the injury is considered minor as of now, and the expectation is that he should be back fairly soon. Rodgers remained on the field after getting hurt in warmups and walked slowly from drill to drill. It was probably just a precautionary measure for the Jets to hold the future Hall of Famer out of drills after acquiring him in a trade with the Green Bay Packers this offseason. The 39-year-old signal-caller has a good chance to bounce back from one of his worst seasons in 2022 because of better offensive weapons in New York, but from a fantasy perspective, Rodgers is probably more of a high-end QB2/low-end QB1 at this point in his career.
