Duncan Robinson Sets Heat Record For Most Playoff Threes
2 years agoMiami Heat guard/forward Duncan Robinson had a historic outing in Sunday's Game 3 victory over Boston, becoming the franchise's all-time leader in made three-pointers in playoff action. He went 5-for-7 from deep during a 22-point performance, moving to the top of the list with 124 treys. LeBron James was the previous record holder with 123 made three-pointers in 87 playoff games. Robinson played in his 52nd playoff game for the Heat Sunday, so he's averaging well above two triples per contest in the postseason. The 29-year-old sniper also had a couple of outstanding passes Sunday, finishing with four assists. He shot 7-for-11 overall and capped off his line with two rebounds in 23 minutes. Robinson played just seven minutes and went scoreless in Game 1, but he has since then hit eight treys en route to 37 points.
