Adolis Garcia On The Bench Monday
2 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia will start Monday's game on the bench against the Kansas City Royals. It will be his first game off of the year after making 15 straight starts for the Rangers. The 30-year-old could use a mental day, as he's hitting just .200 (12-for-60) with a double and 16 strikeouts through the first 15 games, but he also has three home runs, 14 RBI and a stolen base in 65 plate appearances. He has especially struggled of late, so fantasy managers will be hoping he can bounce back after a reset. With Garcia out, Travis Jankowski is starting in right field and batting second against Royals right-hander Jordan Lyles. It's a nice lineup position, but Jankowski offers very little to fantasy managers besides some speed.
