Patrick Mahomes Thinks He'll Be Fully Healthy For Training Camp
2 years agoKansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (ankle) said his right ankle still isn't 100 percent, even during training sessions the last few weeks. However, he thinks he'll be fully healthy when training camp starts at the end of July. "I'm happy with where I'm at," Mahomes said. The 27-year-old superstar suffered a Grade 2 right ankle sprain in the Divisional Round win over the Jacksonville Jaguars and played through the injury in the AFC Championship and Super Bowl. Mahomes said his ankle injury doesn't compare to the offseason foot surgery he had in 2021 and doesn't expect any limitations in training camp this summer. After winning his second Super Bowl, Mahomes is at the top of the NFL world and should be one of the first QBs taken in fantasy drafts.
