2 years agoPhoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant nearly registered his third career playoff triple-double in Sunday's Game 1 versus the Clippers, leading his team with 29 points and collecting nine rebounds with 11 assists. KD was held in check at the start of the game and went scoreless in the opening frame despite logging 10:23 of action, but he heated up with a 17-point second quarter and finished the game with a nice all-around line. Durant shot 7-for-15 from the field, including 3-for-7 from downtown, and had a perfect 10-for-10 record at the foul line. On the defensive end, Durant contributed one steal and two blocks in a team-high 45 minutes.
