Noah Davis Likely To Enter Rockies Rotation
2 years agoWith Colorado Rockies starting pitcher German Marquez (forearm) on the injured list, right-hander Noah Davis is the likeliest candidate to be called up from the minors to join Colorado's starting rotation. In three starts at Triple-A Albuquerque this year, Davis has allowed six earned runs in 12 2/3 innings. Peter Lambert and Karl Kauffman are also options. Marquez said he expects to miss no more than three turns through the rotation, so whoever fills in for him won't have a long stay at the big-league level and therefore isn't worth much of an investment in fantasy leagues. The 25-year-old Davis allowed two earned runs on a homer in his big-league debut in 2022 in an inning of work and won't be a recommended streamer if he joins the rotation.
