Triston McKenzie Making Good Progress
2 years agoCleveland Guardians starting pitcher Triston McKenzie (shoulder) was re-examined on Sunday and is progressing well, according to the team. He has been cleared to resume throwing weighted balls before starting a throwing program this week. A more definitive timetable for a return will be set for McKenzie after seeing how he responds this week. The 25-year-old opened the year on the injured list for Cleveland after suffering a right teres major muscle strain on March 26. We still don't know exactly when he'll make his season debut for the Guardians, but McKenzie is at least moving in the right direction. McKenzie should be stashed in all fantasy leagues after having a strong 2022 campaign.
