Jeremy Swayman Starts For Boston Sunday
2 years agoBoston Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman will pick up his 32nd start of the season Sunday versus Philadelphia. He will be tasked with helping the team register a historic 63rd win of the season, which would mark a new league record. The Bruins matched the 1995-96 Red Wings and 2018-19 Lightning with their 62nd win Saturday against New Jersey. Swayman has played a part in 22 of the wins and is riding a six-game winning streak ahead of Sunday's action. He has recorded a 2.20 goals-against average with a .921 save percentage and four shutouts. Swayman's first shutout of the season came against the Flyers on Jan. 15.
