Corbin Carroll Hitting Fifth Against Right-Hander
2 years agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll hit seventh in the batting order on Opening Day on Thursday against Los Angeles Dodgers left-hander Julio Urias. With right-hander Dustin May on the mound for LA on Friday, Carroll will be bumped up to fifth in the order. He's also starting in left field after playing center field on Thursday. Alek Thomas is in center field on Friday. Carroll could hit even higher in Arizona's batting order this year, but for now he'll settle into the five-hole against a righty. The 22-year-old went 0-for-3 in the season opener on Thursday, but he should be back in all starting fantasy lineups in season-long leagues in Game 2.
