2 years agoToronto Blue Jays third baseman Matt Chapman went 3-for-5 with an RBI and a strikeout in a wild 10-9, come-from-behind win over the St. Louis Cardinals on Thursday on Opening Day. Chapman hit seventh in Toronto's batting order on a day in which the team racked up 19 hits total. The 29-year-old was also caught stealing. Fantasy managers would prefer if Chapman was hitting higher in this potent lineup, but he should still have plenty of opportunities to drive in runs in 2023 and rack up counting stats for fantasy managers.
