Brayan Bello Looks Good In Spring Debut
2 years agoBoston Red Sox right-hander Brayan Bello (forearm) looked good in his Grapefruit League debut on Sunday against the Philadelphia Phillies, throwing two hitless and scoreless innings while walking none and striking out three in Boston's 9-5 win. Bello has been held back in camp due to right forearm tightness, but he made his debut on Sunday and looked very good while tossing 25 pitches. However, the 23-year-old will begin the 2023 regular season on the injured list, and he also might not appear in another Grapefruit League game. Bello will continue to throw in camp and build his arm up for the regular season, but he might not be a candidate to enter Boston's starting rotation until mid- to late-April.
