2 years agoJoey Logano loves to race in Las Vegas and it showed Saturday. The Team Penske driver got around the 1.5-mile track in 29.024 seconds. That was fast enough to vault the No. 22 Ford into the pole position for Sunday. Logano started fifth in October, stayed near the front throughout, and won the Fall race. Also, Logano added two more wins in the Spring (2019 and 2020). Some may be surprised that this is only his second pole. Finally, even his practice intervals (29.357 seconds - ran 21 laps) were third. His average finish of 8.3 and Spring results cement Logano's chances of contending near the top Sunday. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
