DeAndre Hopkins Doesn't Have No-Trade Clause
2 years agoFormer agent Joel Corry points out that Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins' no-trade clause was voided after his suspension to begin the 2022 season. Hopkins was suspended for the first six games and also missed the last two games due to a knee injury. The 30-year-old wideout has been in trade rumors since the end of the season with a non-guaranteed $19.45 million salary in 2023. The Cardinals fired head coach Kliff Kingsbury following the season and also have new leadership at general manager, so they could part ways with Nuk this offseason. Quarterback Kyler Murray (knee) may not be ready for the start of 2023 after tearing his ACL, so a trade could be the best thing for Hopkins' fantasy value. In nine games in his third year in Arizona, Hopkins had 64 catches on 96 targets for 717 yards and three TDs.
