Dalvin Cook Undergoes Shoulder Surgery
2 years agoMinnesota Vikings Pro Bowl running back Dalvin Cook (shoulder), who is second in the NFL in total yards since 2019, underwent surgery on Tuesday to fix a broken shoulder that he suffered back in 2019. "Dalvin has been absolutely dominant and we cannot wait until September," said his agency. Cook made his fourth straight Pro Bowl in 2022 and finished with 264 carries for 1,173 yards (fourth straight season with 1,000 rushing yards) and eight touchdowns while catching 39 passes for 295 yards and two more TDs in 17 games. It was the first time he had played in a full season in his sixth NFL campaign. The 27-year-old could miss some time this spring for offseason workouts, but he should be ready for the start of 2023, where he will firmly be in the mix as an RB1 in one of the better offenses in the NFL.
