Jalen Hurts Won't Be 100 Percent In Super Bowl
2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts (shoulder) is feeling better after suffering an SC joint sprain in his right shoulder on Dec. 18, but he's still not 100 percent healthy heading into Sunday's Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs. "I'm getting there," Hurts has said to reporters on more than one occasion. "I've made it clear this whole time it's something I'm dealing with." Despite the bye in the first round of the playoffs, Hurts hasn't had sufficient time to allow his injury to completely heal. The 24-year-old doesn't have any breaks and surgery isn't in his future, but it's a reminder that he's not fully healthy just yet. Meanwhile, Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes is still playing through a right high-ankle sprain, so both signal-caller's in this year's big game will be fighting through injuries.
