Collin Sexton Fills Stat Sheet In Start
2 years agoUtah Jazz guard Collin Sexton put together one of the strongest performances of the season in Friday's 122-116 win in Toronto, racking up 22 points, five rebounds, six assists, two steals and two blocks. Sexton typically doesn't do much else besides scoring, so this outstanding all-around performance must have been very pleasing for fantasy managers. He played 37 minutes in his 12th start of the campaign and shot 8-for-14 from the field and 6-for-7 at the foul line. Following the departures of Mike Conley and Malik Beasley, Sexton has a clear pathway to regular minutes and should be the starting point guard for the rest of the season now, which is a major boost for his fantasy stock. He has averaged 17.9 points, 2.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists as a starter this season.
