Eric Bieniemy Remains A Candidate For Commanders, Ravens
2 years agoKansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy remains a prime candidate for the offensive coordinator jobs with the Washington Commanders and Baltimore Ravens, according to sources. The Commanders have interviewed six candidates for the job, but Bieniemy sounds like the clear front-runner. With the Chiefs playing in the Super Bowl this Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Commanders will likely wait until next week to make a decision. On the surface, the job in Baltimore would appear to be more attractive, but the future of quarterback Lamar Jackson clouds things a bit. The Commanders are up for sale, and head coach Ron Rivera has yet to have a winning season entering his fourth year. Meanwhile, Bieniemy remains a candidate for the Indianapolis Colts' head-coaching position.
