Eric Gordon Continues Good Scoring Run
2 years agoHouston Rockets guard/forward Eric Gordon led the team with 28 points on 10-for-15 shooting in Friday's 117-111 loss to Toronto. He went 2-for-5 from downtown and 6-for-7 at the foul line while adding three rebounds and five assists to his line with one steal and one turnover in 34 minutes of playing time. The veteran scorer is now averaging 25.7 points per game across the last three matchups. Houston has lost multiple key guys to injuries and Gordon has stepped up to the plate to lead the way. He even helped the team get back-to-back wins for only the third time this season before things went wrong again Friday night. Unfortunately, it appears that Gordon's good run might be over. He will likely sit out when Houston completes a back-to-back on Saturday and Jalen Green (calf) is expected to return for the game.
