2 years agoThe Atlanta Falcons interviewed New Orleans Saints co-defensive coordinator/defensive line coach Ryan Nielsen for their defensive coordinator job on Tuesday, according to sources. The Saints are coming down the home stretch in their search for a new leader of their defense. The Falcons are looking for a new defensive coordinator after the 73-year-old Dean Pees retired this month after 18 years coaching in the NFL. Atlanta has also interviewed Vic Fangio, Brian Flores and Al Holcomb for the job and have requested to interview Ejiro Evero. Nielsen interviewed for the same position with the Minnesota Vikings on Monday. He started his coaching career with the Saints in 2017.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
