Ravens Excited For Negotiations With Lamar Jackson
2 years agoBaltimore Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta said that the team is "excited to start up negotiations with Lamar Jackson" this offseason. Head coach John Harbaugh said that Jackson will be involved in the search for a new offensive coordinator, but it remains to be seen if Jackson will be in Baltimore long term. The Ravens will either sign Jackson to a long-term extension, franchise tag him for 2023 or trade him. "Having talked to Lamar and people inside that organization, what I'm saying is the relationship is salvageable," said NFL analyst Robert Griffin III. The 26-year-old suffered a sprained PCL in Week 13 and was held out for the rest of the season, likely to protect him from further injury was contract negotiations looming. Despite a second straight year with a late-season injury, Jackson will remain a high-end QB1 target in fantasy in 2023 if he remains in Baltimore.
