Montreal Canadiens left wing Jonathan Drouin (upper body) will remain unavailable until the All-Star Game. With the All-Star Weekend still over two weeks away, Drouin is set to miss at least six more contests. He was already sidelined for Tuesday's win over Winnipeg. It's a bitter blow for the former third-overall pick, as Drouin had just started to log some meaningful minutes and managed to make a good impact with a run of five points in five games. The 27-year-old is on 12 points overall for the campaign with 28 games played.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Colorado Avalanche forwards Martin Necas (undisclosed) and Jonathan Drouin (lower body) will not be in the lineup on Thursday against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Both players are banged up following Wednesday's victory over the Chicago Blackhawks. Jimmy Vesey and Miles Wood will be inserted into the lineup. Ross Colton is projected to move into the top six as a result of the injuries, while Wood could join him and Brock Nelson on the second line. If they land on a scoring line, the two will have increased fantasy value on Thursday night.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Colorado Avalanche center Jonathan Drouin (lower body) exited Wednesday's contest against the Chicago Blackhawks with a lower-body injury. Drouin was able to log just over six minutes of ice time and held a -1 rating before exiting. Over his past three contests, Drouin has not tallied a point. Fantasy managers should monitor his status leading up to Thursday's contest against the Columbus Blue Jackets. If Drouin were to miss time, fantasy managers should expect Miles Wood or Jimmy Vesey to draw into the starting lineup. Ross Colton will likely move up to the second offensive line. Through 43 games this season, Drouin has found the back of the net 11 times and added 26 helpers. The 30-year-old has added 56 total shots on goal and just 14 hits and 12 blocks.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Colorado Avalanche winger Jonathan Drouin (upper body) will not play in Wednesday's contest against Chicago. Drouin is dealing with a lingering upper-body injury and will come out of the lineup just four games after returning from a five-week absence. Avalanche head coach Jared Bednar hopes to have Drouin available again on Thursday versus Minnesota. Health issues have limited Drouin to only nine appearances in 2024-25. He's played well when in the lineup, producing three goals and five assists. With Drouin sidelined on Wednesday, Artturi Lehkonen might return to top-line duty, while Ross Colton is another potential option.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Colorado Avalanche left wing Jonathan Drouin (upper body) is expected to return to the lineup on Tuesday versus Winnipeg. He has recovered from an upper-body injury, which has kept Drouin out for 16 games. Overall, Drouin has been limited to just five appearances in 2024-25. He has bagged two goals and two assists. The silky winger will link up with Ross Colton and Mikko Rantanen on the second line for Tuesday's game. Ivan Ivan (upper body) will come out of the lineup against the Jets.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
