Russell Gage Has Movement In His Extremities
2 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Russell Gage (concussion, neck) has movement in all of his extremities after he suffered a scary neck injury and concussion in the fourth quarter of the team's 31-14 wild-card loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Gage was taken to the hospital on Monday night, where he remained overnight for additional testing and observation. He will continue to undergo additional testing on Tuesday, and we will provide any further updates on his condition. With the Buccaneers season now over, Gage will be able to rest and recover, but it remains to be seen how long it will be before he is back in football shape. In his first year in Tampa, the 26-year-old compiled 51 catches for 426 yards and a career-high five touchdowns in 13 games (four starts). Gage caught just two of eight targets for 10 yards in Monday's loss.
