Colts Won't Trade For Derek Carr
2 years agoThe Athletic's Zak Keefer says that the Indianapolis Colts won't be trading for Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr. The 31-year-old has a full no-trade clause and $40.4 million in guarantees that trigger on Feb. 15, three days after the Super Bowl. The Raiders need to find a trade partner and work out a promised deal by that date. Carr said goodbye to the Raiders organization on his Twitter account on Thursday. Because of his no-trade clause, he'll have plenty of say in where he plays next, but it doesn't look like the Colts will be pursuing him after using Matt Ryan, Sam Ehlinger and Nick Foles in a very disappointing 2022 season.
